Go to padlet.com
You can either go ahead and “create something” right away, without being able to save your padlet in a inventory, or you can “sign up”.
If you are using Facebook or a Google-account, you may let Padlet use your information and create a Padlet-account right away. Or you can type a mail-account, you want to use, and create up a password.
When you get to the start menu, start by clicking “Create New Padlet”
You can start by making a background, either from your own desktop or choose a template from Padlet.
From here on you can explore the functionality of Padlet, and begin to make content.
You can take different kinds of content into use in Padlet, by linking or copying it into a notice box.
It is also possible to upload content (e.g. a pdf or a piece of software) from your computer and share it on your padlet.
You can share, invite others and integrate a padlet using different methods.
In the right site, you push the “share” icon. From here you can export or embed your padlet via the show applications.
We recommend two methods of sharing a padlet.
1. You may embed your padlet on Blackboard, thereby share it with colleagues and students. In this way the e.g. students can see the content and write new content on your padlet IN Blackboard. Take a look at this guide, to see, how you embed content in Blackboard.
2. You can also invite people more directly, by sending them an e-mail.
Finally you might want to set the privacy settings for your padlet. Via the “settings” icon you push the “privacy” button. Here you can define, whether your padlet should be public for other users of Padlet, or only visible for the some chosen few.
